About

Background:

The Canadian Progress Club (CPC) is a dynamic fellowship of charitable-minded Canadians who are passionate and committed to strengthening our communities through hands-on service and fundraising, to benefit those in need. CPC was founded in Toronto, Ontario in 1922.

“It’s Great To Be a Canadian/Soyons Fiers d’être Canadien” is the motto of the Canadian Progress Club, an all-Canadian service club having no international affiliations. Progress is entirely Canadian in concept and development. Each local club conducts its own affairs and its own charitable projects.

In addition to their commitments to local communities, on a national level, Canadian Progress Clubs proudly support Canadian Special Olympics through the Canadian Progress Charitable Foundation.

CPC Saskatoon Uptown Community Service Inc.

CPC Saskatoon Uptown is a women’s chapter of the Canadian Progress Club and was chartered on April 10, 2017 by the, now retired, CPC Regina Wascana women’s club. We are one of three Canadian Progress clubs in Saskatchewan.

We are a supportive and inclusive group of women who work together to help others in our community. New members are always welcome!
